Ocean Universal — Spearfishing Equipment in FNQ

Ocean Universal in Cairns has a large spearfishing inventory. That's no accident — the shop was originally Spearfishing Superstore, so that side of things hasn't gone anywhere.

They've got rail spearguns, spearfishing wetsuits, carbon and fibreglass fins, low-volume masks, weight belts, floats, dive knives, and spearfishing accessories. Everything's chosen for tropical conditions — dive shop cairns not southern gear that wasn't made for FNQ.

They became Ocean Universal because the business had already added scuba and freediving gear over the years. But the spearfishing range wasn't cut back. Spearfishing is still central to what of the business.

The team are local spearos and advise on what works on FNQ reefs.
